According to the source, the Court of Arbitration for Sport recently ordered Cardiff to pay £15m for the transfer of Emiliano Sala in the winter of 2019. It will be recalled that Cardiff then updated its transfer record and agreed to pay £15m for the Nantes striker. However, the Argentine striker was involved in a plane crash and died in the English Channel. The Argentine's body was searched for about a month.

After this tragedy, Cardiff refused to pay Nantes for Emiliano Sala. The French club had been fighting for a long time for compensation for the transfer of the Argentine, but the Welsh refused to pay the money every time.

"Cardiff did not concede defeat and is now starting a new legal battle. The Welsh side is planning to force Nantes to pay damages for their relegation from the EPL in the 2018/19 season. We are talking about the amount of 20 to 200 million pounds. Cardiff's coach at the time, Niall Warnock, was convinced that Sala's goals could help the team avoid relegation to the Premier League.

We would like to add that if Cardiff continues to ignore the court rulings of arbitration institutions, the team may face transfer sanctions.
