"Manchester United are ready to spend a record-breaking fee for the transfer of Benfica striker Gonzalo Ramos, the Daily Mirror reports.
According to a source, the Red Devils are set to invite Tottenham striker Harry Kane to join their team, but if this transfer fails, they have an alternative option in the form of Benfica forward Gonzalo Ramos.
Ramos is currently valued at €115 million, so Gonzalo's transfer, including bonuses, could well surpass Manchester United's record-breaking purchase of midfielder Paul Pogba from Juventus for €105 million in August 2016.
