French Strasbourg's Ukrainian defender Eduard Sobol suffered a double nose fracture in another match for his club.
This injury for the 28-year-old footballer was the result of the episode at the beginning of the second half of the 34th round match of the French championship with Nantes (2-0), in which he appeared in the starting line-up of his team.
Early next week Sobol will undergo surgery, after which he will spend 10 days recovering. According to the French media, the Ukrainian has a chance to recover for the match Strasbourg vs PSG, which will be held on May 27.
It must be recalled Sobol came to Strasbourg last winter from Belgian "Bruges". Since then, he has featured in 14 games for the French team and has one assist.
