AS Roma goalkeeper Rui Patriciu set a new UEFA Europa League match record for games played in yesterday's 1-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen.
The 35-year-old has made 67 UEFA Europa League appearances to date, according to the UEFA website. The previous record belonged to former Dynamo Kyiv defender Aleksandar Dragovic who played 66 games in the Europa League.
