Artem Frankov: "All three Dynamo victories under Shovkovskiy were very, very hard work"

Renowned Ukrainian journalist Artem Frankov has shared his prediction for the match of the 26th round of the Ukrainian championship between Dynamo Kyiv and Chornomorets Odesa to take place today in the capital.

- Since Oleksandr Shovkovskiy temporarily, or perhaps not temporarily, replaced Mircea Lucescu at the helm of Dynamo Kyiv, the team have picked up three wins in three games. They were not easy - on the contrary, they were very, very hard, all as one, with the emphasis on the other half (Metalist, Vorskla and Kryvbas).

"Roman Grigorchuk's Chornomorets (he was seen as the likely coach of the Kyivians some ten years ago) at this time alternated between dashing victories and disappointing defeats - that is, they behaved like an ordinary team occupying a place in the second half of the standings (somewhere in the middle), and not going to change the league.

Victory for the hosts of Dynamo Stadium named after Lobanovskiy looks more than predictable outside of any personnel schedule, but our standard problem for favorites' matches with the underdogs is confusing: the small odds on SaSho's team winning. So we'll have to come up with something...

My bet: a draw in the first half and a final win for Dynamo," Frankov said.
