This weekend, matches of the 26th round of the Ukrainian championship are being played. The central game on Saturday, 13 May, saw Dynamo Kyiv and Chornomorets Odesa meet. The match took place in Kyiv at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy.

The match started with a cold shower for Dynamo. Already on the second minute Alefirenko somehow quite calmly advanced with the ball through the central zone and shot from outside the penalty area - Nesheret easily converted the game in a corner. After playing this standard position already Kuzyk hit long range - this time Nesheret recovered the ball from under the crossbar. Well, after the second corner Yermakov, left unguarded in the centre of the penalty area, a header from 10 meters hit the bottom corner of the goal "Dynamo" - 0:1.
However, this discouraging start to the match was not confusing for the Kyiv side. A minute after Shovkovskiy's side responded with a good, but slightly inaccurate Andriyevskyy`s goal. Another thing is that Chornomorets were very confident not only did not let the opponents get closer to their goal, but also tried to attack with great forces. And, eventually, this flow of the game led to the second goal against Dynamo: on 11 minutes of the match another attack of the seamen finished with a cross from the right flank, Demchenko finally sealed it with a header - 0:2.
If the first goal had no effect on Dynamo's psychology, after the second one the Kyiv side became confused. The hosts began to act with obvious fear, and because of this their attacks looked confused and there were no special problems for the defense of Chornomorets, who skillfully converted the game number two. Now they began to threaten the Bilo-Syni with counterattacks. One of them on 28 minutes ended with a dangerous strike from Alefirenko from 20 meters, after which the ball flew just half a metre from the bar. However, just a minute later Dynamo players were very close to the goal: Karavaev lifted to the far bar from the right, Voloshin shot from two meters - the ball hit the post, landed on the pitch within inches from the goal line, Saliuk saved his team, he protected his goalkeeper and only for a moment ahead of Benito.
Two more dangerous moments for Dynamo in the closing stages of the first half. First, Bujalskiy played with Vanat in the Chornomorets penalty area and shot on target from some five meters, but failed to hit the target - the ball almost hit the bar. And after a minute, Vanat, receiving a pass on the right flank, took over the game, burst into the penalty area and shot from close range, aiming at the far corner of the goal "sailors", but the ball flew again in the vicinity of the bar. In the first half Kyiv were unable to achieve more in the match, and the teams went into the break with the score 2-0 in favor of Chornomorets.
If the beginning of the first half was a cold shower for Dynamo, the starting point of the second half brought the same troubles to Chornomorets. When the match resumed after the break, the Bilo-Syni took the game to the opponents' half of the pitch and very quickly achieved success. On 53 minutes of the match Vanat took over the game, played with Benito, burst into the penalty area and sent the ball into the net from about 11-meter mark - 1:2. And after just two minutes, the Dynamo players scored the second goal: Karavaev broke down the right flank, gave the ball to Buyalskiy who hit the back of the net having played in close formation with Vanat, and shot at the net of Odessa`s goal - 2:2.
Later the game continued to go under the dictation of Dynamo, but at the 64th minute Chornomorets nearly took the lead again - it was Ermakov, receiving a pass in the penalty area of Kyiv, spectacular volley from 10 meters, but Nesheret managed to save his team.
That moment changed the nature of the battle on the pitch. "After two consecutive conceded goals, Chernomorets came to their senses and made the game more even. At the 70th minute of the match the seamen managed to regain the advantage in the account: the visitors effectively intercepted the ball at Dynamo`s half, Demchenko managed to hit the ball from 25 meters into the bottom corner of Neshcheret`s goal - 2:3.
The rest of the match was expectedly spent at Chornomorets midfield, who did their best to keep winning score. In a short time interval Dinamo conducted a huge number of attacks, but the visitors failed to get the ball over the crossbar, with Tsarenko's strike from the penalty line not counting. As a result, the scoreline ended up being 3-2, with the Chornomorets winning.
After the matches Dynamo still takes the fourth place in the standings of the Ukrainian championship, being five points behind the third Luhansk Zoria, but it has not held its match of the current round (tomorrow the Luhansk team will play in Uzhhorod with Metalist Kharkiv).
Next, 27th round Dynamo is waiting for the guest match with Oleksandriia, which will be held next Saturday, May 20, in Oleksandriia at the stadium Nika (kickoff at 15:00).
