Former Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that in 2018 he advised the Red Devils' management to sign Erling Holland.
"I called MU about six months before I took over and told them I had a great striker, but they didn't listen. I asked for £4 million for Holland, but they didn't sign him," The Sun quoted Sulcher as saying.
It will be recalled that Holland worked under Sulcher at the Norwegian Molde, after which he joined Salzburg in the summer of 2018. A year later, the forward became a player of Borussia Dortmund, and before the start of this season, he signed a contract with MU's neighbour Manchester City.
