The Premier League match between Southampton and Fulham was played at the St Mary's Stadium in a thrilling game that ended in a 0-2 victory for Fulham. The match started with both teams showing good defensive play, which led to a 0-0 scoreline at half-time. In the second half, Fulham started to attack more actively and it paid off when Carlos Vinicius scored in the 48th minute, giving the away side the lead. Southampton responded, with R. Overall, it was a tight match between both teams, but Fulham's play in the second half proved too much for Southampton. As a result, Fulham moved up in the Premier League table, while Southampton dropped a few places.
