Kimmich. M. Boulter was yellow-carded in the 36th minute, marking a disappointing first half for the visitors. Schalke made their first substitution just seconds into the second half when K. Brunner was replaced by M. Yoshida. However, this did not change the course of the game as Bayern's S. Gnabry scored his third goal of the match just five minutes into the second half.
Schalke made their second substitution when M. Frei replaced S. Polter in the 64th minute, while Bayern made their first substitution when K. Coman was replaced by R. Gravenberch. FC Schalke quickly made two more substitutions, replacing T. Krauss with D. Drexler and M. Boulter with T. Skarke, but this could not change the result. In the 65th minute, S. Gnabry scored his second goal of the match before being replaced in the 71st minute by M. Tell and J. Kimmich was replaced by L. Goretzka. Bayern continued their dominance when M. Tell scored his fourth goal of the match in the 80th minute, making it even more difficult for Schalke FC. Bayern made two more substitutions in the 85th minute, replacing M. de Ligt with D. Upamecano and J. Musialu for S. Mane. FC Schalke made one last substitution in the 86th minute, replacing J. Woronen was replaced by T. Ouweian. However, Bayern showed no signs of slowing down and continued to attack, with N. Mazraoui scoring his sixth goal in the 90th minute. Overall, it was an impressive performance from Bayern as they showed their attacking prowess and dominated the match, while Schalke 04 FC struggled to contain their opponents. The win brought Bayern closer to the top of the standings, while Schalke have a tough road ahead this season.
