Throughout the game, several players received yellow cards, including K. Behrens and S. Becker of Union Berlin and M. Gregoric of SC Freiburg, who received a yellow card in the final minutes of the game. Overall, the match between Union Berlin and SC Freiburg was an exciting display of football talent. Union Berlin's first three goals proved to be a great advantage, while SC Freiburg tried to catch up with their opponents throughout the second half.
