On one of the last days of La Liga, Osasuna faced Almeria in a match played at the El Sadar Stadium. The first half of the match ended 0-0 and the spectators were eager to see what would happen in the second half. The first action of the second half came on 46 minutes when Osasuna's A. Budimir scored, giving the home side the lead. Just five minutes later, Osasuna's A. Ezzalzuli scored another goal to increase the lead to two goals. In the 59th minute, Osasuna's K. Barja was replaced by M. Gomez. Almería made their own substitution in the 67th minute when G. Melero was replaced by F. Portillo. Soon after, Almeria made two more substitutions: Leo Baptistao and A. Embarba replaced A. Puigmal and Lazaro respectively.
Osasuna made two more substitutions in the 71st and 82nd minutes: A. Budimir and A. Ezzalzuli left the field in place of C. Avila and R. Garcia respectively. Almeria also made two more substitutions in the 73rd and 79th minutes, with C de la Josa and L Roberto. In the 81st minute, Osasuna player M. Gomez scored, seemingly putting the game to bed for Almeria. However, just a minute later, Lazaro scored for Almeria, making the score 3-1. Osasuna made three final substitutions in the 82nd minute, replacing J. Moncayola, R. Peña and D. Moreno for P. Ibañez, R. García and R. García. Despite Almeria's valiant attempts to get back into the game, Osasuna held on to a 3-1 win. The fans at the Estadio El Sadar left the stadium with smiles on their faces, cheering on their team as they celebrated their hard-fought victory.
