In the 70th minute, Real Madrid snatched victory with a goal from M. Asensio, which sent the home crowd into a frenzy. Getafe tried to get back into the game: in the 74th minute, J. Seoane was replaced by C. Allen, and in the 83rd minute J. Iglesias was given a yellow card. In the 84th minute, both teams made substitutions: G. Alvarez replaced J. Amavi for Getafe and E. Camavanga replaced A. Odriosola for Real Madrid. At half-time, Getafe's J. Seoane was given a yellow card and the match ended in a 1-0 win for Real Madrid. Despite the match being difficult for both teams, Real Madrid emerged victorious in the end, securing a victory that will keep them competitive in the highly competitive La Liga.
