The 20-year-old was injured after a rough shot by Juan Iglesias, and Carlo Ancelotti was forced to replace the Frenchman in the 84th minute of the match. Kamawinga's injury occurred just a few days before the important Champions League semi-final return leg against Manchester City. After the game, the Gunners' coach assured everyone that the midfielder would recover in time to take the field in Manchester.

"It's just a knock and he will recover quickly. Everyone should be ready to face Manchester City. Kamawinga has a bruise, but he should be fine. Tomorrow he will be rested like everyone else who played," Ancelotti said.
