Rebrov ready to extend his contract with Al Ain

The fate of Al-Ain's Ukrainian coach Serhiy Rebrov remains uncertain.

According to the Emirati newspaper Alittihad, the 48-year-old specialist is ready to sign a new contract with Al-Ain, and the club management are already aware of Rebrov's decision. It must be recalled, the Ukrainian's current agreement with Al-Ain is due till June 30 this year.

It is reported that the final decision regarding the extension of cooperation with Rebrov will be taken by the club management after Al-Ain under the guidance of the Ukrainian coach will appear in the decisive stages of the UAE League Cup. Rebrov's team reached the semi-finals of this tournament, where they will play Al Nasr on 17 and 21 May.

Al Ain have already finished this season's UAE championship, finishing second.

It should be recalled that Rebrov is said to be the main contender to become the head coach of the Ukraine national team.
