Barcelona president Joan Laporta has promised that the Catalan club will do everything possible to bring Lionel Messi back.
"We will do everything possible to bring Messi back to Barcelona. I recently spoke to Leo, and we have a great relationship. Messi is the best player in the world and any coach would love to have him in their team. He had a lot of unpleasant incidents with fans in Paris. I wouldn't want to bother him now.
"Barca is the home of Messi and Barca can compete with Saudi Arabia and with anyone else," Laporta told RAC1.
