Lokomotiv Kyiv wins silver medals at international football tournament in Poland

A 6v6 children's football tournament among teams of children born in 2015 took place in the Polish village of Staryi Liszczyn.

The U-8 Lokomotiv (Kyiv) children's football team defeated Italian Inter, German Hertha, Rukh (Lviv) and Polish Krakow on their way to the final round of the TOP-3 tournament.

In the TOP-3, after losing to Belgian Anderlecht and drawing with Dynamo Kyiv, the team led by Oleg Budzko took second place among the 40 strongest football teams in Europe in the U-8 age group. Lokomotiv's Volodymyr Lyashchenko was recognised as one of the best players in the tournament and was named to the symbolic team.
