On Tuesday, the 25-year-old footballer underwent surgery on his right knee. The Algerian midfielder will need at least six months to recover. The player risks missing the start of next season.
In the current campaign, Bennacer has played 40 matches for AC Milan in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
