"There are aspects in which Roma can and should improve. It's true that Bayer is a strong team with quality players. They needed to attack to get the result, but we played like a real team, like a family, and were able to make this little dream come true.

After the introduction of Mourinho, we expected this improvement in quality. But, of course, it is not always so obvious. Nevertheless, I believe that the mister is the creator of our mentality. He knows how to convey the importance of the match, as well as the preparation. You can see it in the results he gave us in Europe. My gut feeling was that we always lacked a little bit to succeed. Mourinho will give us a big piece, not a crumb," RomaPress quoted Pellegrini as saying.

It will be recalled that this is Roma's second consecutive final in European competitions under Jose Mourinho.
