Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta has commented on the information about the possible transfer of the team's midfielder Granit Xhaka to Bayer Leverkusen. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, the negotiations between the clubs are in the final stages, and the deal is estimated at 15 million euros.
"We all have great respect for Granit at the club. There is a great story around him. Whatever happens, this is what we will discuss," Arteta was quoted as saying by the Gunners' press service.
It will be recalled that the 30-year-old Swiss's current contract with Arsenal expires in the summer of 2024.
