Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has commented on Manchester City's performance under Josep Guardiola.
"While Manchester City are approaching the treble, the rest of the AFL is facing an unpleasant reality. While Guardiola is coaching Manchester City, the rest are playing for second place.
"City could win a third consecutive title if they beat Chelsea at the weekend. And any logical pre-season prediction would be that City will take a fourth straight title in 2024. Despite Arsenal's challenge this season, no one is even close to City, and it's hard to imagine anyone managing to level that gap over the summer.
On the pitch, we are seeing the realisation of Guardiola's vision. He has created a team that consistently demonstrates a quality we have not seen before. The victory over Real Madrid is just the latest in a series of thrilling defeats to major rivals," The Telegraph quoted Carragher as saying.
