"Shakhtar lose Traore again for a long time

Shakhtar Donetsk forward Lacina Traore has been injured and will be out of the training process for a long time. This was announced by Shakhtar head coach Igor Jovicevic.

"Traore will not play for three months. He has a new injury. Tendinitis of the quadriceps. I think he will be ready by the start of the training camp. This is a very qualified and important player for us," Jovicevic said at a press conference after yesterday's match against Veres (2-1) in the 27th round of the Ukrainian championship.

Let us remind you that not so long ago Shakhtar already had to do without Traore. In September 2021, the forward suffered a complex compound injury to his right knee, underwent two operations, and returned to the pitch only a year later.
