Tom Tuchel: "I still believe Manchester City were on the hook for us"

Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel believes his side had a chance to knock Manchester City out in the Champions League quarter-finals (1-4 on aggregate):

"I had the opportunity to appreciate it well. It is confirmation that the situation in the games was much closer than the scoreline.

I still believe Man City were on the hook for us in both matches. That's the benchmark. I think we played at a very high level against them. We don't need to be ashamed of being knocked out, but of course we are annoyed. But we will come back," said Tuchel.
