Napoli head coach Luciano Spalletti may leave the team due to a conflict with the club's owner, reports Corriere dello Sport.
According to the source, Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis automatically extended the agreement with the Italian specialist until the summer of 2024. However, the 64-year-old specialist hoped to receive a one-and-a-half times salary increase. Interestingly, De Laurentiis wanted to extend the agreement for a longer period of time.
In the 2022/23 season, Napoli became the Italian champions for the first time in 33 years.
