In a tense Premier League match at the Chernomorets stadium, the teams Chernomorets and Minay came together in a duel of football talents. In the first half, both teams played on equal terms and neither side failed to hit the net. In the second half, however, play became more active as both teams tried to break the deadlock. In the 52nd minute, Minaya player T. Dmytruk, and was soon followed by another yellow card for D. Nemchaninov in the 54th minute. Despite the increased number of yellow cards, neither team could find a serious scoring chance. In the 61st minute, the crowd was stunned when a Minaya player scored an own goal, giving Chornomorets the lead.
However, the advantage was short-lived as in the 63rd minute, G. Hadida, a Chornomorets player, was replaced by A. Avagimyan. The match became even fiercer, as Minay tried to get back into the match. On 70 minutes, M. Gechev was replaced by Y. Tverdokhlib and Minay continued to look for a break. In response, Chernomorets substituted O. Kuzyk instead of M. Voytikhovskyi in the 78th minute. In the final 10 minutes of the game several substitutions were made, including V. Rogozinski and Y. Kolomoets coming on for Minai. After the final whistle, the score was 0-1 in Minaya's favour. Y. Kravchuk got a yellow card in the 81st minute for "Minaya", but this did little to reduce the satisfaction of a hard victory. Despite the 0-1 defeat, Chornomorets fought bravely throughout the match, but could not achieve a result against the unyielding Minaya.
