Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp is the preferred option to replace Napoli head coach Luciano Spalletti, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 64-year-old is expected to leave the Stadio Maradona at the end of the season, despite Napoli's decision to activate the provision to extend his stay until June 2024. The president of the Neapolitans, Aurelio de Laurentiis, seems to have confirmed Spalletti's departure and is already working on finding a replacement. The functionary dreams of inviting Klopp, whom he already tried to hire in 2013. However, the German tactician's contract at Anfield runs until June 2026.
Antonio Conte and Gian Piero Gasperini are also on Napoli's shortlist, and the same goes for Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano.
