The hosts dominated possession and looked comfortable going into the break with the lead. However, RB Leipzig had other ideas and they started the second half with a new sense of purpose and intensity. The second half began with a substitution in RB Leipzig: M. Momentum completely turned in RB Leipzig's favour, and Bayern struggled to break down the opponent's solid defence.
In the 76th minute, a penalty kick was awarded to RB Leipzig, which K. Nkunku converted, giving his team the lead. Bayern stubbornly tried to level the score, but in the 86th minute they were caught on the interception and another penalty kick was awarded to RB Leipzig, which was scored by D. Substitutions by both teams had a significant impact: A. Haidara, Andre Silva and D. Olmo of RB Leipzig were decisive in the victory. At the same time, Bayern's L. Sane, R. Gravenberch and D. Upamekano, despite their best efforts, failed to change the course of the match. All in all, the match was exciting and interesting, with both teams showing their skill and determination.
