In a Premier League match at the Valeriy Lobanovskiy Dynamo Stadium, Zorya Luhansk defeated Ingulets 1-0 at half-time and 2-0 in regulation time. The first goal of the match was scored on 21 minutes, which was awarded to Luhansk Zorya and successfully realized by V. Brazhko. On 33rd minute Ingulets received a yellow card and Vitaliy Klimenko was cautioned. However, on 46 minutes, Klymenko was substituted along with M. Kovalev. In the second half, Ingulets received a yellow card in the 58th minute and E. Zaporozhets was sent off. On 58 minutes, a substitution was also made: A. Sitalo replaced M. Marusic. 69 minutes into the match, Zorya Luhansk made their first substitution: S. Bulets was replaced by K. Dryshlyuk.

In the final minutes of the game, Zorya upped their lead through an 81st minute goal scored by N. Rusin. However, in the 86th minute, Dmytro Myshnyov was given a yellow card, followed by B. Butko and Y. Kozyrenko in the 89th minute. Overall, Zorya Luhansk dominated the match, scoring two goals and taking a number of shots on goal. On the contrary, Ingulets had trouble creating chances and even after making substitutions were unable to get back into the game after an early goal from a penalty corner. The victory cemented Zorya's place in the Ukrainian Premier League and put them in front in the battle for the league title.
