There is a scandal in the Turkish championship. Fenerbahçe defender Samet Akaydın spat at Trabzonspor forward Mahmoud Hassan during the Turkish Super League's 34th round match between these teams.
The Egyptian forward, also known as Trezeguet, leaned towards the turf to celebrate his goal after a successful strike from the 11-metre mark in an oriental fashion, when passing Akaidın spat at him.
Trezeguet's goal meant nothing - there had been only 10 minutes to play and the score was 3-1 in favour of Fenerbahce. That was the end of the match.
