Tebas to Vinicius: "We tried to explain racism to you, but you ignored the meeting twice"

La Liga president Javier Tebas said that Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior twice ignored a meeting with La Liga representatives to explain and act on racist insults.

"Since those who are supposed to explain to you what La Liga is and what it can do in cases of racism do not do so, we tried to explain it to you ourselves, but you did not show up on either of the two agreed dates that you proposed.

Before you criticise and insult La Liga, you need to understand yourself. Don't let yourself be manipulated and make sure you understand the competence of the parties and the work we do together," the La Liga president wrote.
