Aarhus sporting director Stig Inge Bernebier has spoken about the situation with Dinamo midfielder Mikkel Duelund, who now plays for the Danish club.
"Mikkel Duelund is not technically on loan. He left Dynamo Kiev temporarily because of the war. This means that we are giving him a free deal until the summer, until his agreement with Dynamo is renewed if the war is over.
Mikkel is a player who knows Danish football, he can do a lot in attack, create chances and score goals. At the same time, he has shown fantastic motivation and desire to contribute to Aarhus. Therefore, when the opportunity to sign him arose, it was foolish not to take it," Bernebier told the Aarhus Stiftstidende.
