The former Dynamo Kyiv forward Viktor Leonenko commented on the yesterday's matches of the 28th matchday of the Ukrainian championship with the leaders (Dnipro 1 vs Vorskla - 1:2, Zorya vs Shakhtar - 0:3).
- Why did Zorya play so poorly against Shakhtar, losing devastatingly 0-3?
- Firstly, Zorya simply burned out, and secondly, we should say "thank you" to Snurnitsyn, who got a red card and let the team down. As Rykun said: "If you don`t want to play, just substitute"(laughs).
Shakhtar managed to congratulate their fans on the club's anniversary, not allowing Zorya to create anything in their goal, except for Imerekov's moment when he headed the ball in from a standard.
Zorya players created problems for themselves, they had a lot of lapses and mistakes. The Luhansk side themselves were forcing Shakhtar forward.
- Dnipro-1 failed to confirm their title as favourites against Vorskla, losing 1-2.
- By the way, I do not agree with Kucher, who hinted that they were blamed for a dubious penalty. I would not complain if I were Kucher, because Dnipro 1 also had a lot of last-second wins and questionable penalties. Today's matches showed that we do not give a shit in the European competitions.
- Is it already possible to congratulate Shakhtar on winning the championship?
- I have long ago congratulated Shakhtar, at the beginning of the season I said they would become champions. And it's not thanks to Jovicevic, but rather in spite of it. To be honest, I do not like the way Shakhtar play - they walk. But even with their poor play, the Donetsk team pick up points thanks to individual skill.
I liked De Dzerby much more than Jovicevic. He was improvising, constantly running and worrying. The Italian revealed Mudrick, although I believe he has yet to open up, and is still a substitute. De Dzerby proved he's a good coach by making a furore in the APL with Brighton, who don't have a single star. Jovicevic is not as brave.
