However, the referee was busy issuing yellow cards to three Mallorca players - T. Cadevera, Lee Kang-Yin and D. Rodriguez. After the break, Mallorca made a substitution: A. Ndiaye came on instead of J. Costa. This must have had some impact, as Mallorca took the lead with a goal from V. Murica in the 64th minute. Mallorca made another substitution almost immediately, replacing T. Cadevere with A. Prats.
Valencia also made their first two substitutions: D. Lopez and Nico came on in place of S. Castillejo and J. Kluivert respectively. More substitutions followed, with S. Lino and J. Duro replacing A. Mari and E. Cavani for Valencia. Mallorca also made two more substitutions: D. Hadžikadunić and A. Sánchez replaced M. Morlanes and D. Rodríguez respectively. In the final minutes of the game, Valencia made one last substitution: T Correia came on instead of D. Fulquier. However, with time running out, they couldn't salvage a draw. The match ended with yellow cards for Valencia's A. Mari and Mallorca's A. Sanchez. It was a tough win for Mallorca against Valencia which they will remember for a long time to come. Their fans certainly hope that they can build on this victory and move up to a higher position in the La Liga table.
