Ukraine's youth team to play a friendly match against Ireland

In preparation for the final tournament of Euro 2023 (U-21), Ruslan Rotan's wards will meet with their Irish peers.

The friendly match between the youth national teams of Ukraine and Ireland will take place in Austria on 16 June (starting at 19.00 Kyiv time). The blue and yellows' training camp, timed to coincide with the preparation for the European Championship, will begin on 7 June.

It will be recalled that this year the youth national team of Ukraine will take part in the final tournament of Euro 2023 (U-21). A total of 16 teams will take part in the forum, which will take place from 21 June to 8 July in Georgia and Romania. As a result of the draw, which took place on 18 October last year in Bucharest, the blue and yellows got into Group B, where they will meet Romania, Spain and Croatia. The three best teams at Euro 2023 (except France and England) will receive tickets to the 2024 Olympic Games.
