Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah posted a touching post on social media about the team's failure to qualify for the Champions League.
"I am absolutely devastated. There are no excuses for this. We had everything we needed to get to the Champions League next year, but we failed.
We are Liverpool and getting into the CL should be our minimum. I'm sorry, but it's too early to be optimistic. We let you down and we let ourselves down," Salah wrote on social media.
It should be added that after 37 rounds, Liverpool has 66 points, Jurgen Klopp's men are four points behind Newcastle, who are in fourth place.
