Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has spoken about the team's progress to the Champions League following the results of the Premier League season.
"We understood that reaching the Champions League was an important task for the whole club. Obviously, we knew that the fans would be happy that Liverpool would not play in this tournament. However, it's not just about that. We have to take care of ourselves and our performances," Fernandes was quoted as saying by the MU press service.
It should be reminded that a round before the finish of the English Premier League, Liverpool lost its chances to get into the top four of the championship.
