Former Spain national team coach Luis Enrique may become the head coach of Napoli, Sport.es reports.
According to a source, Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has identified Luis Enrique as the main contender for the Partenopei's coaching position. The Italian club has not yet reached an agreement with the Spanish specialist, but his refusal to work at Chelsea in London has opened up the possibility of working in Italy.
It will be recalled that the current Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti will leave the club due to a misunderstanding with the Partenopei's officials. Interestingly, under his leadership, the team managed to become the Italian champion and reached the 1/4 finals of the Champions League.
