Artem Gromov: "I may have signed a document that I had to return to Ukraine with Dnipro-1. But I didn`t get into it".

Ukrainian AEK Cypriot striker Artem Gromov commented on his presence on the athlete list The Ministry of Youth and Sports published yesterday the list of athletes who did not return from abroad.

Artem Gromov

- Artem, how would you comment on the situation that you are on the list of athletes who have not returned from abroad?

- To be honest, I am very surprised. The question immediately arises why there are me and Kulach, but there are no Ukrainian players, who transferred to the clubs of the APL in winter? It immediately suggests a kind of selectivity.

It would be interesting to hear the comments of the Ministry of Youth on this subject. If I broke something, I apologize, but the law should be the same for everyone.

- Did you know that you had to return to Ukraine on a special pass?

- I broke the contract with "Dnipro-1" unilaterally, there was such an option in my agreement. At that time we were in Slovakia, Kosice, where the team was based. After the fall of the championship, I got an offer from AEK (Larnaca), I notified the club to break the contract and I moved to Cyprus.

I signed a lot of papers at Dnipro 1, maybe there was a document, according to which I had to return to Ukraine with the team. But I`ve never got into it and I do not blame the club. Soccer is my job and I`ve done nothing wrong. Like our whole country, I support the AFU and look forward to a speedy victory over the occupiers.
