Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola is pleased with the way Citizens striker Erling Holland has shut up his critics.
- "I'm not sure that Erling feels any pressure. I think he has handled it very well. At 22 years old, he copes with the level of expectations, and some of them he just makes fun of. He laughs when people criticise him.
I remember the FA Cup match when we lost 3-1. He didn't score an obvious goal. I remember that. I remember all the memes and all the things people said about him. At the time, we didn't know each other well and had only been working together for one month, but he told me: "Don't worry, I'll score". That's the kind of guy he is. He has incredible confidence, and unrealised chances will not make him lose that confidence," said Josep Guardiola.
We would like to add that in the current EPL season, Erling Holland has scored 36 goals, the Norwegian broke the legendary record of Alan Shearer, who scored 34 goals in one season.
