Borussia Dortmund head coach Edin Terzic shared his emotions after the game against Mainz (2-2) in round 34 of the Bundesliga and the loss of the championship.
"Please understand, I can't give the deepest analysis. We really wanted it, the whole city, the whole stadium. We worked hard to get that position, we had a huge chance. It's shit. When you see the guys lying on the ground, when you see them sitting in the changing room, and when you see this emptiness, it seems unfair.
Congratulations to Bayern. Anyone who is on top after 34 game days deserves it.
Throughout the whole 90 minutes of the match against Mainz, we felt it wasn't easy today. It didn't work out the way it did in previous weeks, so it was tough. You can see how close things are in the Bundesliga. If we had scored a penalty, if the goal to make the score 2-2 had been achieved a little earlier, then there would have been more chances," Terzic said.
