Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta believes that injuries to his players are the main reason for the loss of the Premier League championship.
"There were a few things that caused a downturn in our performance at the end of the season. You have to approach this stage of the season with 24 players who are healthy and in the best shape. This happened to us last season as well. We could not count on 3-4 of our key players.
This is a big lesson for us. If you look at the winner, they have 24 players, each of whom is physically and mentally ready, and they really made a great run at the end. We didn't have that again," The Independent quoted Arteta as saying.
