U-19 Championship. Round 29

"Dynamo U-19-VERES U-19- 4: 0 (1: 0)
Goals
: Kremchanin (32), Matkevich (51), Gorbach (62), Filatov (68).

"Dynamo: Ihnatenko, Gusev, Syzonyuk, Filatov (Eremenko, 76), Benedyuk (Teteria, 76), Malysh (Kotukha, 59), Yatsyk (Boichenyuk, 59), Tsarenko (Zorenko, 59), Makkevych, Kremchanin, Horbach.

"Veres: Kulyk, Protasevych, Datsenko, Savchuk, Romasyuk (Drozd, 80), Funduk, Vadovsky, Lepsky (Bokiy, 56), Zayko, Petrov (Volchenko, 69), Kovaluk (Pylypchuk, 56).

In the first-round match, which also took place in Vita Litovska, Dynamo won narrowly thanks to a first-half goal by Oleksiy Husyev. The reporting match promised to be difficult, given that Rivne won eight of the 15 matches they played in the spring part of the season (with only one victory in the autumn), rising from the bottom to the middle of the standings.

Ihor Kostiuk's men pinned the opposition to their goal from the first minute. The main danger came from set-pieces - in particular, Tsarenko twice took free-kicks from promising positions, but in both cases Anton lacked accuracy. Filatov also missed the goal when he connected on a corner kick and headed home a cross from his partner.

But the guests did not sit in a deadlocked defence either, often using high pressure. In one of the episodes, Kovaliuk came into operational space and shot from outside the penalty area, but the shot was not strong and Ihnatenko easily picked up the ball.

Dynamo managed to open the scoring in the 32nd minute. The goalkeeper parried Malysh's shot from a half-circle in front of the penalty area, but the White and Blues' attack continued, and after Yatsyk's cross from the right flank, Kremchanin headed into the near corner - 1-0.

This is not to say that, having taken the lead, Dynamo gave the initiative to the opponent, but by the end of the first half there were no more chances at the Veres goal. Rivne also had nothing to boast of, except for a long-range shot above the goal, so the opponents went into the break with a minimal advantage for the White and Blues.

The second half began again with Dynamo's attacks, and they quickly doubled their lead. Tsarenko earned another free kick in the immediate vicinity of the opponent's possession, and Matkevich threw the ball over the wall with a masterful shot - 2-0.

In the middle of the second half, Dynamo extended their advantage to a big one, scoring twice. In both cases, quick counterattacks led to the goal: in the first episode, Horbach finished with an accurate shot to send three White and Blues players against one goalkeeper, and in the second, Filatov joined the attack and successfully finished after the goalkeeper's save.

Dynamo played the rest of the match to their heart's content, although in the last ten minutes Ihnatenko had to come into the game several times. However, our goalkeeper kept his goal safe, and Dynamo won a crushing 4-0 victory.

It should be added that in another match of the round, Lviv's Rukh defeated Chornomorets 2-0 away from home and became unattainable for Dynamo, winning the gold medal.
