Former Dynamo Kyiv striker Ilya Shkurin, whose rights belong to Russian CSKA, played a season on loan to Maccabi Petah Tiqwa, where he was the highest-paid player.
Maccabi did not mind at all that the forward would stay with the team, as the club made clear to the player during the season. After a great season, Shkurin has other options for his career. Several clubs from the top of the Israeli D1 table have shown interest in the forward. There is also considerable interest from the Polish D1, where two clubs want to keep him.
