"Girona and Tsygankov lose and now risk losing the European Cup

Ukrainian midfielder of the Spanish "Girona" Viktor Tsygankov played yesterday for his club, playing all 90 minutes against Betis in the 37th round of the championship of Spain.

It must be added that since his transfer from Dynamo to Girona last January, Tsygankov played 18 matches for the Spanish club (16 of which he started as a starter), and he scored three goals and five assists.

As for Girona, their defeat at the hands of Betis made it difficult for them to qualify for next season's European competitions. Tsygankov's side still have a chance of qualifying for next season's Conference League, but in order to do so, Girona need to beat Osasuna and Athletic, who are one point ahead in the last round of the championship.
