- Of course, it is a pity that we did not fulfil the highest goals set for us this season. And only now we have started a period when we have gained a good momentum. The coaches tell us that these matches have already started preparations for the next season, in which we have to demonstrate everything we are capable of.
- Has the team established cooperation, including in the centre of defence? You've spent half a season in the Dynamo first team, do you already feel the full cooperation?
- Always when you come to a new team, a new team, it's a bit difficult at first. But over time, playing constantly, I gain experience and momentum and begin to better understand and feel my partners on the field.
- You started playing at the adult level at Oleksandriya, where you spent the first half of the season. What are the differences in the requirements for playing your position at Dynamo compared to Oleksandriya?
- Each team comes out for the match against Dynamo as if it were the last battle. Almost every opponent closes down, builds their numerous defensive redoubts and plays defensively. It was a little easier for Oleksandriya because their opponents played more open football against them.
- Today, Veres also played defensively. What is the most difficult thing in such matches when playing in defence - to maintain concentration? Are such matches easier than when there is a lot of work in defence?
- It's hard to say, one match is not like the other. In every game, the result is very important for us, we feel a lot of pressure, responsibility to the fans. Therefore, in every match we have to play with maximum concentration.
- Dynamo started the second half actively and quickly took the lead. What did you need to add?
- During the break, the coaches pointed out to us where we made mistakes and what we should focus on to improve our game in certain aspects. We did exactly what the coaches told us to do, and it paid off.
- But the events in the match were such that the score could have been equalised at the end of the game. Was Bushchan's penalty saved one of the key factors in the victory?
- Of course, and we congratulated Zhora on his penalty after the game. When he came into the dressing room, all the guys started shouting "Bravo, bravo!" I can only give him a standing ovation, because he corrected our defensive mistake.
- Did you congratulate Denys Garmash on his return to the scoring column? He scored a lot last season.
- Denys has already spent so much time in the team, he has so much experience that we can say he is a real maestro on the pitch. The team sometimes calls him Kuminyo.
- Do you, as a defender, often face him in training during exercises and two-pointers ?
- Yes, I do. He is very experienced, you can really feel it. I benefit from it, I would even say it's a real thrill to train with Denys.
