Smalling: "It's not easy to watch others celebrate"

Roma defender Chris Smalling shared his impressions of the Europa League final against Sevilla (1-1, penalties - 1-4)

"A big disappointment. It's a shame to lose in a penalty shootout. We were focused on winning and gave everything on the pitch. It's not easy to watch others celebrate.

We will have a second attempt next season. Mourinho was very proud of us after the match. He said that we have to be strong because we win and lose together," Smalling was quoted as saying by UEFA's official website.
