The Ukrainian Premier League has one round left in the 2022/23 season, which will take place next Sunday.

"Dynamo will play an away match against Metalist 1925. The Kharkiv club has not yet solved all its tournament tasks and is fighting to avoid head-to-head matches with a team from League 1, while Dynamo will finish in 4th place in any case, so it will play for prestige. The game will take place in Kyiv, at the V. Bannikov National Sports Complex.

"The White and Blues began preparations for the match against Kharkiv on Wednesday, having had a day off on Tuesday after returning from Rivne, where Kyiv continued their winning streak. In the match against Veres, Dynamo scored their third consecutive victory, so they started preparing for the last match of the season in a good mood.

On Thursday, the training session started at the brand new fitness centre built at the Dynamo training and development centre this season. Here, the players properly prepared for the main part of the session - with balls.

After taking to the pitch, Vladimir Shepelev, who celebrated his 26th birthday today, received birthday greetings from the coaches and the team.

After the warm-up, the players split up - the goalkeepers worked separately under the guidance of Mikhail Mikhailov, and the field players worked separately under the guidance of Alexander Shovkovsky. Mircea Lucescu was also watching the training closely, and then the Mister himself came onto the pitch on crutches and began to give his players tips.

At first, the field players worked in squares, controlling and taking away the ball in the outlined conditions, which changed from time to time. Then the goalkeepers joined the group and tactical exercises began.

This week, the Dynamo players are training once a day. On Saturday, on the eve of the game, the morning training sessions will be joined by an evening pre-match theoretical session. The game on Sunday will start at 15:00.
