Atletico Madrid is expected to find a new home for Feliz this summer, and the lack of interest in João may force the Madrid club to send him back out on loan.
"Newcastle, who have reached the Champions League, are one of the clubs that have been offered Feliz's services, but the high cost of the loan makes this move highly unlikely.
