Aleksandr Palianytsia: "Tsygankov is great! He made the right choice for the style that suits him".

Former Ukraine national team forward Aleksandr Palyanytsya told what he thinks about the performance of the leading Ukrainian internationals this season, and also opined that Dnipro-1 forward Artem Dovbik has "over-served" in Ukrainian football.

Victor Tsygankov

- What do you think of our guys' performance abroad?

- Zinchenko in general is great. He found his championship and club. You could say he became the leader of Arsenal. In general, at the "City" he was doing well - he tried, but Sasha had much less playing time than now. Now if not for the injury, it would be a great season.

- And Mudrik?

- They just threw him in the furnace. Probably, it was wrong. Chelsea had to bring the guy in gradually. But this is my opinion. The main thing is for him to gain form, for his confidence to return, for him to turn into the Mudryk we remember and know by his best games at Shakhtar. Going out for 10-15 minutes is not the way to go. We must break through.

- Tsygankov...

- He is also a good boy. I like Tsygankov. He quickly acclimated to Spain, did not miss the style that suits him and allows him to use his best qualities.

- Your opinion about Dovbik, who continues to play in Ukraine?

- In my opinion, it was high time for Dovbik to leave. At least six months ago, even this winter. The guy scored a lot, he looked great. I think he has outgrown the Ukrainian championship. The process is going in the wrong direction now.

- But he was already abroad. And that unsuccessful transfer knocked him out for a while.

- Yes, but he returned and recovered his spirit here - it is good, it means Artem has strong willpower and sports pride. He`s got confidence now, he is scoring a lot. A lot depends on the team and the coach, a player like him needs trust. But I think it`s better for Dovbik to leave as soon as possible.
