Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos will leave the Parisian team at the end of the current season, the French club's press service reports.
The club's bosses offered the Spaniard to extend his contract for another year, but Ramos did not agree to a pay cut. The 37-year-old defender hopes to receive an offer from other teams that are willing to satisfy his financial appetite. In particular, several clubs from Saudi Arabia are interested in Ramos' services.
"Tomorrow is a special day when I will say goodbye to this stage of my life. Goodbye, PSG. I don't know where you can feel more at home, but without a doubt, PSG, the fans and Paris have given me warm and homely feelings. Thank you for two special years during which I was able to play in every tournament and give my best. I will face new challenges, wear different colours, but again and for the last time, go Paris!" Ramos wrote on his social media.
It will be recalled that Sergio Ramos joined PSG in the summer of 2021 as a free agent. During this time, the Spaniard played 57 matches and scored 5 goals.
