Argentina striker Lionel Messi has rejected a move to Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal. This was reported by The Athletic.
According to the source, Messi is now choosing between Inter Miami and Barcelona. Interestingly, the American club is already negotiating the final details with the MLS over the transfer of the player.
Two of the league's biggest commercial partners have been involved in the process of Messi's move to Inter Miami, as for them, the Argentine's transfer is an opportunity to boost the income of the entire championship sponsorship squad.
In addition, Barcelona are also interested in signing Messi, whose management are in talks with Lionel's father.
It was previously reported that Al-Hilal offered Messi a deal under which the Argentine would receive €500m a year by playing in Saudi Arabia.
